Belonging to a church is a bit like being part of a family. Those ties can grow weak if relationships are ignored. But bonds grow stronger with love and care that isn't just a case of doing our duty.

Jesus kept saying that our priority should be on our relationship with God, and with those around us.

Most of us know different family members to a greater or lesser extent. There may be members of our family that we've never met, or not even heard about. Perhaps you are one of them? We all have unique characteristics, abilities and experience. Together we can do far more that is possible on our own.

We are part of a family of many different races, from all over the world, and express that through practical ties with those overseas. More locally, our church is part of the Diocese of Exeter, and a member of Churches Together in Barnstaple.

Whether you consider yourself already a member of God's family, exploring that possibility, or 'just visiting', you will find a warm welcome at St.Paul's.

This page tells you a bit more about our work with children and young people. We have a wide variety of ages at the church amongst the children and the adults. On Sundays, except for during main school holidays,and 3rd and 5th Sundays, St.Paul's Seekers meet separately during the middle part of the Sunday 10am service. Seekers are our groups for primary (and older pre-school) children. We have a newly refurbished children's activity corner in church for the younger ones and babies and toddlers are also very welcome. Our teenagers and young adults have a mid-week occasional Youth Fellowship.

Having fun at the Pentecost Picnic.

We got out the parachute for some games after the picnic on our Church Green. The sample video on the left is waiting for a click in the picture frame to load the full clip. Behind the hall is the fenced off outdoor play area that is used by the Scallywags Preschool which meets Mon-Fri morning in that building.

This month magazine's children's pages or activities

The families within our church membership have children ranging in age from young babies up to students. There are nearly always young people at our main 10am service - we don't expect children to be 'seen and not heard', but encourage them to be fully involved.
