ART & ARCHITECTURE : St.Paul's Church, Barnstaple
Together, changing lives for good!
Although St.Paul's Church building is relatively new, and of no particular artistic merit, there are a few interesting
and even unique features in it: There is an illuminated cross in place of the normal East window, and a fine example of
a Paterson stained glass window.
The church hall is also the home for two of the area's art organisations. The Barnstaple
Floral Art Club, which has been based here for very many years, and The Rosa Tuffney Art Academy, which grew out of an
exhibition, gallery and children's competition in the summer of 2011.

Sundays give us the chance to come together not just for worship, but also for fellowship. At the back of the church is an area for this purpose, with a plentiful supply of coffee, tea, or squash and biscuits after the main morning service.
Please note that at special festival times, around Mothering Sunday, Easter, Harvest (1st Sunday in October),
and Christmas, services often vary from the normal pattern.
See the Sunday services link above.
